Cha looked into alternate splash pages to introduce their product. The main focus was the survey, which after taken, will match the user with their customized tea results. The process was designed to be fluid, simple and satisfying, making the assessment an activity instead of labor.

For the first delivery, clients will receive a limited edition journal which will contain the tea ritual, tea facts and practices, personal documentation and illustrative demonstrations. The users are encouraged to explore the journal to fully engage in the culture of tea.

CIBC launch their iPad application Spring 2012, and a new style guide needed to be created for the new touchscreen interface. I was assigned to design a human centered approach style guide, to complement corporate professionalism and company culture.  The template was set for easy modification and additions.

I proposed a redesign for CIBC  to optimize usbility - a new Personal Online Banking experience to raise CIBC as the industry leader. This was a personal project I took on from research to wireframing. Gathering competitor data and investigating redundancies to create an efficient user centered design.  The low fidelity prototypes combined current CIBC iPad architecture with imagined banking tools, such as "emotional tags". Account balance is clearly stated and a comprehensive list of expenditures is presented in both list and graphical representations.

Dealio

Dealio is a Mobile app that allows users to find daily specials & deals offered by surrounding restaurants.

Designed the complete Dealio app for iPhone and Blackberry. Dealio is a simple application to help people find food deals, fast and the UX experience was created around these principles. The GPS automatically populates the list of specials, organize by distance. Key information such as location and types of deals can be quickly located, with user generated approval rates. Personalized profiles are set up for easy assess of favorite deals.

CheatSoc Mockup

CheatSoc Startup idea. Creating online space of notes and resources to share with students.

Mockup of CheatSoc, an online note sharing system. Registered by universities, the site complies notes and tips for students, by students. Realistic ratings of courses and professors, useful university life tips and trending topics are customized to the user's student status. The information architecture is based off of surveys from University of Waterloo students.

Music Gamble

Music Gamble is a study conducted by the University of Waterloo.
"In Ontario, problem gamblers account for 60% of slot machine revenue, about $1.8 billion annually. In an effort to determine why slot machine gambling is the most addictive form of gambling in Ontario, our research team is using a variety of techniques including questionnaires and interviews."
